CloudNC's team structure is unusual for a software company at this stage: 62% of the 93-person team is technical (software engineering + manufacturing). Four Chief Engineers, an Engineering Manager who was a Harvard Radcliffe Fellow, and a CTO who led engineering at McLaren Applied Technologies and BAE Systems Applied Intelligence. The founders — Saville (Warwick, manufacturing/mechanical/robotics engineering, started two businesses before 18) and Emery (Imperial, ex-Google, sold a business before CloudNC) — have been at this for 10+ years. The CTO, Andy Cheadle, led engineering at McLaren Applied Technologies and BAE Systems Applied Intelligence and also founded a company before CloudNC.
